Growing up Southern is a privilege, really. It's more than where you're born - it's an idea, a state of mind that seems imparted at birth. It's more than loving fried chicken, sweet tea, high school football, cookouts, country music, and acoustic guitars. It's being hospitable, being devoted to front porches, magnolias, the good Lord, and each other. We don't become Southern - we're born that way.

My Mondays & Tuesdays!

Finley
On Mondays & Tuesdays i am blessed with the most perfect job in the world and that is babysitting one of the most amazing baby girls ever! I could not start my week off any better way then getting to be with such a sweet baby! I have learned that when i someday have a child of my own my days will consist of hanging out at home all day learning things from the Dr. OZ show...... such as, you should always close the lid when you flush the toilet, which i might add i have continued to do since the moment i heard why its so important! :)

“Children too are a gift from the LORD, the fruit of the womb, a reward.” – Psalm 127:3
